Merry Christmas, Take Two

Christmas trees are pretty. I like to touch and feel the prickly needles. What do you mean, Santa watches me when I'm sleeping? You've gotta be kidding me mamma! I just saw the man the other day! He's coming to our house??? Tonight??? And you expect me to be able to sleep knowing a man dressed in red and white fur is gonna be sneaking around our house.... It's Christmas morning and I just woke up.
Look what the big guy left me! Okay, I think Santa may be pretty cool after all!

Then Mimi gave me what's called a stocking that Santa filled up for me with more fun things! Wow!

Santa left an ornament on the tree for me, too. This is it right here.

My First Christmas - Meeting Santa

Mimi took me and Tasia to the mall to see Santa.

Neither of us have seen this mysterious man before but he comes with many superb references. We are ready to meet "the man."

Tasia talked to Santa and told him what she wanted for Christmas. I believe she told him, "All kinds of stuff." Being a woman, she is both vague and specific all at once. I don't know how they do it.

Then, it was my turn. He seemed to be an alright person as long as I could see my Mimi.It didn't take me long to be ready to get down, though.

My verdict on the whole Santa experience? I'm glad it is over.

Merry Christmas, Take One

Since my Mom-Mom's moving to the Caribbean today, we had Christmas with her and all the family last Sunday. I had such a good time! This is my Great-Great Granny. I'm smiling because she REALLY is great!Me and Daytona are getting a ride from Mimi. She must be really strong to hold the two of us solid boys. Then, they brought out all this stuff with this pretty bright paper that Mommy and Mimi let me tear up! And then, I had all these cool boxes of different shapes and sizes to play with. OH...I think I got some toys or something, too.Mom Mom got us each a hamper that looks like an animal. My toys were all in it, so soon I was, too.Mimi pretty much held me the whole day. She even let me open all her presents so it took a long time to get done. I had fun with all the paper, though. Here is my new ball. I totally dig it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
